Art for Sale

And no, I’m not referring to my husband. If I sold him who would make dinner?

We are walking in the Arthritis Walk in Des Moines this spring, and my children (unbeknownst to them) are needing some donations to support their existence on the team. So . . .

Being that my children are the best little artists around, I am giving all of you, my faithful readers, the opportunity to purchase their artwork through a donation to the Arthritis Fund. Aren’t you lucky?

The boys create their work using a variety of mediums, usually marker, crayon, and colored pen on white printer paper. Occasionally we go mixed media and add some stickers and glitter. They are very talented artists who love drawing trains, people, roller coasters, and flowers. They can also draw other things although sometimes it’s hard to figure out exactly what it is they drew.

For every $10 donation, you will receive one 8 x 10 frameable piece of original artwork, created especially for you. Tell us what you like and my versatile little men will work their magic.

For every $20 donation, your artwork will include glitter, stickers, and other exciting items such as ribbon, sequins, googly eyes, and possibly paint if Mommy is feeling brave that day.

For donations of $30 or more we will frame your original artwork before we ship it to you!!!

100% of your donations will go to the Iowa Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, which offers support to those with arthritis (me included) and is working to find a cure. What a wonderful cause! And think how much my cute little boys (see pictures below) will appreciate it! 🙂

The donation process is simple. Simply click on the links to donate to Ryan or Sam. Then email me at with your address information and specifications for your artwork, if you have any.

I will update this page later with examples of both boys’ artwork. You can see one of Ryan’s pieces below, but you can’t have that one because it’s mine. 🙂

Questions? Comments? Leave them here or email me at the above address.

Support a great cause and the two cutest kids on the planet all at the same time– and receive original artwork that may be worth millions someday!

It’s not every day you get an opportunity like this. 🙂
