Today was my “big” ultrasound– meaning the one where they finally take a peek to see if baby is a boy or girl.
This ultrasound was very informative.
We learned that the baby is healthy and measuring just right.
We learned that the baby is breech– which I suspected because of the way I’ve been feeling movements. Not anything to worry about since baby still has a few months to flip over.
We learned that the baby is a girl!!! If you want to read that, highlight over it with your cursor. Some members of our family don’t want to know. Please keep your comments gender non-specific, all right?
And we learned that this baby is as weird as the rest of the members of our family, as proven by the following Best Ultrasound Picture Ever.
Yes, that is the baby’s leg up over his/her head. Yes, we are a weird family.
When we told the boys what the baby is going to be, Ryan’s reaction was “Are you SERIOUS?” and Sam almost immediately started suggesting names for the baby, including Van, Christmas Tree, and Snowflake.
Obviously we will be taking his advice, but we’re not telling you which of his fabulous suggestions we will be using, so nyah nyah nyah.

We caught lilly sucking her thumb on the U/S and she was a big thumbsucker her whole life.
