Just a Moment

He runs around the living room, making airplane noises for his Lego plane, stopping at the high chair to make googie faces.

She squeals in glee, spreading graham cracker mush and chortles of happiness around the house.

And I pause in the middle of the laundry and dishes and everything else, and unwrap this moment.

And I smile.
