I Am What I Am

Me: Stinky, you’re cute.

Stinky: No I’m not.

Me: You’re not?

Stinky: No.

Me: Then what are you?

Stinky: I am what I am. I am what God made me.

Me: And God didn’t make you cute?

Stinky: Well He did a long time ago. When I was first a baby.

Me: But not anymore?

Stinky: Nope.

Me: So if you’re not cute, then what are you?

Stinky: Mommy, I don’t want you to ask me anymore questions.

I don’t know, bud. I think you’re still pretty cute.
