Monday Is the Weekend

It’s true, you know, at least when you’re the pastor’s family. Sunday is the busiest work day of the week, so Monday is relaxing day! This evening we relaxed by trying out our new fire pit.

The consensus? Good hot dogs. πŸ™‚

Although this strange child likes her hot dogs cold and gets very grouchy when you try to cook them in any way. Bummer for her, huh? She doesn’t know what she’s missing!

Hot dogs were followed by marshmallows, and then we all sang all the annoying songs we knew. Sometimes at once.

I’m sure we’re the neighbor’s favorites ever.

This might be my favorite picture of Darth Piggy ever. Or at least in a very long time. πŸ™‚

Tomorrow the week starts for real. Lots of busies going on, but I’m so happy to have my husband home that I’m okay with the busy.

It’s all good. πŸ™‚

  1. During the off-season, Joel works Tues-Sat, and then Sunday is, well, you know, it’s Sunday, so Monday is our Saturday, too. πŸ™‚ It’s kind of nice having it after the busy weekend!! πŸ™‚
